Adaran Tourist Area is one of the popular nature tourism destinations in Alborz Province, located along the scenic Karaj–Chalus Road in the Asara District. Where Is Adaran Located?

Adaran is located in Alborz Province, within Karaj County and the Asara District, along the Karaj–Chalus Road. Continuing along the Haft Cheshmeh trail leads to one of the area’s most important natural attractions, Adaran Waterfall, also known as Picheh Adaran Waterfall. The waterfall is reported to be approximately 90 meters high, with water cascading down the rocky cliffs before joining the river below.

Some sections of the trail leading to Adaran Waterfall are narrow and rocky. Therefore, visitors should wear suitable hiking shoes and carry the necessary outdoor equipment. During rainy seasons, crossing sections close to the river can be difficult and potentially dangerous.

Summer is also a suitable time for exploring Adaran, thanks to its cooler climate compared with urban areas. In autumn, the changing colors of the trees create a different and beautiful landscape. How to Reach Adaran Tourist Area

To reach Adaran, take the Karaj–Chalus Road and continue toward the Arangeh and Adaran area. Haft Cheshmeh Waterfall is located around kilometer 17 of the road, and signs directing visitors toward Arangeh and Adaran can help with navigation.

To visit the waterfalls, part of the route can be covered by car, followed by a section that must be completed on foot. Some parts of the hiking trail run alongside the river and between rocky formations. Therefore, wearing suitable footwear, particularly shoes designed for slippery and rocky terrain, is essential.
