The Nasir al-Mulk Mosque

This mosque is one of the traditional mosques in Shiraz. Its construction year began in 1876 and lasted for 12 years.

The Nasir al-Mulk Mosque – Shiraz, Iran

Because of its tiling and arching 1 , the Nasir al-Mulk mosque is the most beautiful mosque in Iran. The mosque has a wide courtyard which is located in north side. At the entrance, there is a large arch which has been decorated with colorful roof tiles. This mosque has two eastern and western prayer halls. The western prayer hall covered with bricks and most of these bricks have been decorated and is very beautiful. The roof of this prayer hall has placed on the stony pillars with helix on that, and two rows of six, for amount of 12 because of The Twelve Imams 2.
