Mahmoodieh school is one of the seminaries of Shiraz that is located in ‘Balakaft neighborhood’, near the western courtyard of the tomb of ‘Sayed Ala al din Husayn’ , and is separated by three steps from it.The entrance door of this school opens to the yard of ‘Syed Alaeddin Hussein’. This school was made in (1075 AH) by the order of ‘Mirza nezam al molk’ son of ‘Hussain Beig Jaberi’,minister of fars.The school was closed during the Pahlavi period, but in 1358 opened again to work.
